Matt Stevens

Matt has specialized in suburban predator control as a Federal Wildlife Biologist in Washington State for the past 14 years. In addition, he professionally guides predator, turkey, and big game hunts. Personally, he has called in and successfully harvested over 30 turkeys and 600 coyotes. Conducting coyote removal (calling and trapping) on a daily basis in both rural and urban settings has given Matt a unique perspective on predator behavior and ecology. His “think like a predator” approach to hunting combined with a biological background has helped Matt in his quest to turn predator into prey. Matt received his B.S. in Wildlife Management from Washington State University in 1999, and he and his wife Lori reside in Bothell, WA with their two children.
